At MQL | Miriad & Quest Leisure, we pride ourselves on being an efficient, dynamic wholesale supplier.
As a leading supplier to the caravan, camping and leisure trade in the UK, we’re always looking at ways to reduce our carbon footprint to protect our planet for future generations.
These are the improvements we have made so far to help our Environment and reduce our carbon footprint:
Lighting
- Installed LED Lighting in our warehouse & office spaces
- Light sensors installed
Cars & Travelling
- All company cars are electric or hybrid
- Reducing travel and conducting more meetings online
Reducing Waste
- We have gone paperless, meaning all of our order confirmations, delivery notes and invoices are now sent electronically
- 75% of our waste is recycled via our partnership with Veolia. This includes shrink wrap, cardboard and plastics
- We rework our damaged stock to use it internally and to avoid sending it to landfill
- Removing polystyrene from our packaging
- Recycling pallets and ink cartridges at their end of use
- We have moved 85% of our packaging to recycled cardboard
- Non-recycled materials are sourced from FSC suppliers
Green & Open Spaces
- The open space around our office includes plenty of trees
- We are donating our pallets to a local company to build birdhouses
